The Crabtree in Shoreham by Sea is just five minutes from the main A27, making it a convenient place to find rest and refreshment on a long car journey. The A27 bypasses the Cathedral town of Chichester, and is the main route from east to west along the south coast – follow the signs for Selsey to find us.
The scenic Southdowns National Park is the main draw around here, with walkers exploring the area all year round. But as well as the natural beauty nearby, there are some man-made attractions to discover- such as St Margaret’s church, Cowdray House, Hollycoombe working steam museum and Haslemere education museum (all within 5 miles).
A little further afield are Petworth House, The Weald & Down open air museum and Goodwood house, horse racing and motor racing circuit.
